Question regarding gold plating gun parts

I have a 5 to 6 pieces from a firearm that I would like to electro-plate in gold. Will you, do you, do that type of work? I'm aware that I could purchase a kit to do this at home and being quite good with my hands I have considered this. Your thoughts please.
