After Ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.

Most Important Symptoms and Effects, Both Acute and Delayed
After Inhalation: May cause respiratory irritation.
After Skin Contact: Causes skin irritation. Symptoms may include: redness, pain, swelling, itching, burning, dryness, and dermatitis.
After Eye Contact: Causes serious eye irritation. Symptoms may include: redness, pain, swelling, itching, burning, tearing, and blurred vision.
After Ingestion: Ingestion is likely to be harmful or have adverse effects.
Chronic Symptoms: None expected under normal conditions of use.

Indication of Any Immediate Medical Attention and Special Treatment Needed
If exposed or concerned, get medical advice and attention. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible).

SECTION 5: FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Suitable Extinguishing Media
Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.

Unsuitable Extinguishing Media
Do not use a heavy water stream.

Specific Hazards Arising From the Substance or Mixture
Fire Hazard: Not flammable.
Explosion Hazard: Product is not explosive, however in contact with incompatibilities it may release explosive hydrogen gas.
Reactivity: Hazardous reactions will not occur under normal conditions. Solution may react with amphoteric metals such as aluminum.

Advice for Firefighters
Precautionary Measures: Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Under fire conditions, hazardous fumes will be present.
Firefighting Instructions: Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.
Protection During Firefighting: Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
Other Information: Do not allow the product to be released into the environment.

SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment, and Emergency Procedures
General Measures: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe vapor, mist, or spray.
For Non-emergency Personnel: Use appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE). Evacuate unnecessary personnel. Keep upwind.
For Emergency Responders: Equip cleanup crew with proper protection. Upon arrival at the scene, a first responder is expected to recognize the presence of dangerous goods, protect oneself and the public, secure the area, and call for the assistance of trained personnel as soon as conditions permit.

Environmental Precautions
Avoid release to the environment.

Methods and Material for Containment and Cleaning Up
For Containment: Contain any spills with dikes or absorbents to prevent migration and entry into sewers or streams.
Methods for Cleaning Up: Cautiously neutralize spilled liquid. Clean up spills immediately and dispose of waste safely. For small quantities of liquid spill, take up in non-combustible absorbent material and shovel into container for disposal. Collect absorbed material and place into a sealed, labeled container for proper disposal. Practice good housekeeping; spillage can be slippery on smooth surfaces, either wet or dry.

SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE

Precautions for Safe Handling
Additional Hazards When Processed: Contact with metals may evolve flammable hydrogen gas. May be corrosive to metals.
Hygiene Measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Always wash your hands immediately after handling this product, and once again before leaving the workplace. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not eat, drink, or smoke in areas where product is used.

Conditions for Safe Storage, Including Any Incompatibilities
Technical Measures: Observe all regulations and local requirements regarding storage of containers.
Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place. Keep container closed when not in use. Storage areas should be periodically checked for corrosion and integrity.
Incompatible Products: Strong acids and amphoteric metals such as aluminum and zinc.
