Terms and Conditions
At Gold Plating Services we believe that our products in conjunction with design, customer support, and technical support offer the best value for their intended use when compared to any commercially available equivalent product. When consulting with a customer or potential customer we make our best effort, based on our understanding of purpose, to insure that the product recommended or purchased will be appropriate for the customer's application.
We Guarantee that any product purchased from Gold Plating Services will perform as specified in our written or on-line descriptions, user guides, and specifications. Warning: The individual user should take care to determine prior to use whether the product(s) being purchased is suitable, adequate, and safe for the intended use. Since individual applications are subject to great variation, the manufacturer makes no representation or warranty as to the suitability or fitness of our products for any specific application except as explicitly described in the written material or web site information provided by Gold Plating Services Inc.
Equipment components are covered by a limited warranty regarding defects in material and workmanship. To obtain a copy of the warranty for a particular equipment item please click here and request the warranty you are interested in.
Return Policy: Purchase carefully. As a matter of policy, we do not accept any returns for any reason except as provided above or as specified in the specific warranty terms and conditions for equipment. If an exception to this No Return Policy is made, the agreement to accept a return will be at the sole discretion of Gold Plating Services. The terms of the return will be determined on a case by case basis and any compensation for a negotiated return will be for product credit only and will require a mandatory twenty percent restocking fee. Any return for any reason is subject to our Un-Authorized Return Policy as stated below.
Un-Authorized Returns: Under no circumstances may any goods be returned to Gold Plating Services without prior written authorization, which will include issuance of a Returned Materials Authorization number (RMA number) for the item(s) to be returned. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the exterior of the packaging. The return of any product to Gold Plating Services without the appropriate RMA number will be considered an Un-Authorized Return. The disposition or disposal of an Un-Authorized Return will be at the sole discretion of Gold Plating Services. Any cost incurred because of an Un-Authorized Return, including shipping, storage, or disposal will be the responsibility of the party sending the Un-Authorized Return.
Customs Duties: Customs duties and brokerage fees might be applicable for some countries. All duties and brokerage fees, if any, are the buyers' responsibility. Please contact the Customs Office of your country to find the rate, as we unfortunately do not have that information available to us to provide. In our experience, customs duties/taxes are usually around 15-20% of the purchase price. Again, customs fees are never part of the amount customers pay to Gold Plating Services. They are paid in addition to the order amount, and paid directly to the destination country. Refusal of an order after it ships will result in the customer's forfeiture of shipping costs, as well as any other financial penalty incurred by the carrier.
